Working with UEI: Our Detailed Process

  1. Site Review. “UEI will perform an onsite survey whenever possible, to assure the best possible outcome.
  2. Design and Material Selection. “Based on the site survey and the architectural specifications, materials are selected and incorporated into the proposal.
  3. Proposal. “The proposal incorporates all of the decisions made at the time of its creation to provide the overall project cost as described.
  4. Proposal Review and Approval. “This is the first formal opportunity to assure that what UEI is proposing is in fact what the customer wants. It is also an opportunity to modify design.”
  5. Contract Sign. “Once the initial conversation about the design has been concluded the customer signs the contract and approves the written description about the scope and price of the project.”
  6. Plan Creation. “Once the written description has been confirmed by the approval of the contract a plan view of the project is created and provided for approval or discussion.”
  7. Plan Review and Approval. “This is the next formal opportunity to assure that what UEI is proposing is in fact what the customer wants. It is also an opportunity to modify design.”
  8. Order material. “Now that the design and plans have been approved the material for the project can be ordered.”
  9. Fabrication. “This is where UEI puts part of their building talents to work and fabricate the raw materials that will be installed into the elevator interiors.”
  10. Installation. “This is the final phase of the building cycle, but not the final phase of UEI’s relationship with the customer. Once the cab interiors are completed we hope that you will take the time to give us feedback on the outcome of the project and any questions you might have.

Optional Services

  1. Mock-Up. “If a mock-up is requested then a full scale version of the cab interior will be created for the customer and their representatives to view and approve or comment”.
  2. Mock-Up Review and Approval. “This is the final formal opportunity to assure that what UEI is building is in fact what the customer wants. It is also an opportunity to comment on the design.”
